Dying without dignity: my husband’s story
The aim of this section is to provide a forum for health care professionals to describe the care received by a dying friend or family member. The objective is to provide readers with good and bad examples of nursing management during the dying process in order to encourage reflective practice. The authors will remain anonymous in order to protect confidentiality. Vicky Robinson, Consultant Nurse at St Christopher’s Hospice, will provide a response at the end of the article.
