Introduction: Between 40 and 70% of patients with advanced cancer suffer from nausea or vomiting. Both nausea and vomiting are also common in other life-limiting conditions. There are no nationally agreed prescribing guidelines for these conditions. Our unit uses the Yorkshire Trainees Guidelines.
